This well-deserved recognition reflects his impactful leadership and the strength of vision guiding St John of God Health Care through a period of significant transformation in the private health sector.

Over the past 130 years, St John of God Health Care has grown to become the state’s largest not-for-profit employer and a key provider of health care and social outreach services. As the health care landscape continues to shift, our organisation is evolving too.

In this role, Bryan leads over 16,000 caregivers and runs 27 facilities, including 16 hospitals, across Australia (WA, VIC and NSW) and New Zealand. He has a wealth of knowledge of the health care sector, a strong focus on people and culture, excellent commercial and acumen, and extensive experience in management.

Bryan is also deeply committed to St John of God Health Care’s Mission and Values, and is focussed on continuing to build a strong culture of collegiality and employee wellbeing, with a focus on clinical excellence and ensuring the best possible patient experience.

Under Bryan’s leadership, we’ve developed a bold, future-focused Strategy that puts people at the centre – delivering compassionate, committed and connected care by making sustainable choices, empowering our caregivers, transforming patient experience, and extending our Mission beyond hospital walls.
