Our surgeons use the best available technology and enjoy convenient access to the latest imaging equipment via our onsite radiology provider, SKG.

We were the first private health care facility in Western Australia to use the Mako Orthopaedic Robot.

Installed in 2015, the Mako is used by ten of our orthopaedic surgeons to perform partial knee replacements, total knee and hip replacements, and enables a more predictable surgical experience when performing joint replacement surgery.

The device is used to generate a 3D model of the patient’s joint prior to surgery. This allows surgeons to pre-plan their patient’s surgery based on their specific anatomy.

During the procedure, the surgeon guides the Mako's robotic-arm according to the patient’s plan and 3D model.

In May 2019, we were the first facility in Australia to perform 1,000 procedures using the device.

Rehabilitation after orthopaedic surgery starts while you are in hospital.

Your allied health team, including physiotherapists and occupational therapists, work with our nurses and doctors to help you manage your pain and get you moving.

Your rehabilitation may continue at our hospital as an outpatient, with a range of physiotherapy and occupational therapy providers located conveniently onsite. You can also access our hydrotherapy pool to help you get moving after surgery, particularly after hip and knee surgery.

Home visiting nurses

You can choose to have our home visiting nurses come to your home to care for you after your hospital stay to help you recover.
Our nurses can provide a range of services tailored to meet your needs including wound care and administering IV antibiotics or anti-coagulation treatment.

Rehabilitation in the home

Our team of home visiting physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as other allied health clinicians such as dietitians and speech pathologists, can come to your house to help you recover and build up strength after orthopaedic surgery
