The evening event will cover a range of practical topics designed to help people better understand and manage their heart health.

Cardiologist Dr Chloe Nettlefold will explain how wearable technology is transforming modern cardiology, while Interventional Cardiologist Dr Eric Yamen will share proactive steps people can take to prevent heart disease.

In addition, Interventional Cardiologist Dr Michelle Ammerer will round out the program by helping attendees understand the different causes of chest pain, the risks involved, and when to seek urgent help.

Dr Ammerer said the event is designed to be accessible and welcoming for everyone of all ages, whether they are managing an existing condition or simply interested in prevention.

“Heart disease is one of the leading health challenges in Australia, but the good news is there’s lots we can do to reduce risks and improve outcomes,” she said.

“This event is a chance for people to hear directly from experts, ask questions in a supportive environment, and leave with practical tips they can put into action.”

The seminar will run from 6.00pm to 7.00pm at St John of God Subiaco Hospital, with registration and light refreshments commencing at 5.30pm.
