St John of God Subiaco Hospital stage three kitchen refurbishment is now complete

Stage three of the kitchen refurbishment has been completed marking another milestone in the St John of God Subiaco Hospital Redevelopment.

St John of God Subiaco Hospital reached an exciting milestone last week with the completion of the stage three kitchen refurbishment.

Works included new food preparation areas, cool rooms and dry stores, and upgraded with modern, state-of-the-art equipment.

Catering Manager Jon Valentine said the kitchen refurbishment had been long overdue and the new facilities would set the hospital up for the future.

The changes will help increase production efficiencies and improve overall OHS practices, while enhancing the existing a la carte room service, which is already receiving positive feedback from patients.

Works have now commenced on stage four of the kitchen refurbishments, which are expected to be completed over the coming months. This will include a new pastry section, cold larder room and additional storage space.
