The former caregiver dining room was recently closed to accommodate the renovation of the hospital’s kitchen.

St John of God Subiaco Hospital CEO Prof Shirley Bowen said “As part of our major redevelopment project, we are upgrading our hospital’s kitchen to a state-of-the-art commercial facility.”

“This will allow us to provide our room service menu to all patients across the hospital next year. Currently, only maternity patients have access to the a la carte menu.”

“St John of God Subiaco Hospital is renowned for the provision of delicious, restaurant quality food. We look forward to building on this reputation, and enabling all patients to order meals at a convenient time.”

St John of God Subiaco Hospital’s patient meals are prepared onsite by the hospital’s gourmet chefs, and are planned by qualified dieticians to ensure they are nutritious.
