St John of God Geelong Hospital in partnership with the University of Notre Dame

St John of God Geelong Hospital are delighted to support the clinical placement of postgraduate students undertaking the Doctor of Medicine from The University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA).

The Head and Deputy Head of Medical School of UNDA recently visited our hospital to congratulate the students on their first day.

This agreement with the UNDA has provided St John of God Geelong with the opportunity to accept their first cohort of students for placement. The initial placement will involve a combination
of rooms and hospital experience. It is a small but significant step in the hospital's desire to progressively enhance their participation in medical training.

St John of God Geelong Hospital already provides a rich opportunity for many students across a range of health disciplines including medical students and accordingly this initiative aligns well with their commitment to support learning and the growth of future health care workforce.
