Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit relocating
The Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit has relocated to the ground floor, as preparatory works begin for the newly updated unit.

As part of the redevelopment, St John of God Ballarat Hospital will have a new 10-bed Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit (ICU/CCU).
Whilst the new ICU/CCU is being built, the current unit must relocate. This relocation will be for approximately 10-12 months, until the new unit has been completed.
How to access Intensive Care and Coronary Care Unit
Access to the relocated ICU/CCU will be via the Emergency Department. Just ask one of our caregivers either at our concierge or at the Emergency Department Reception.Visiting Hours
Our current visiting hours for ICU/CCU are as follows:Weekdays: 10.00am to 12.30pm and 2.30pm to 8.00pm
Weekends: 2.30pm to 6.00pm
If your loved one is in intensive or critical care, they are very unwell but are in the best place possible to receive care from our team of experts.
As such our visiting times and numbers may be restricted.
Please speak to our nurses to discuss visiting options before attending the hospital.
