Designed to enhance clinical knowledge among primary care providers, the program will focus on practical approaches to assessment, referral, and patient-centered management strategies.

Learning outcomes

Participants will be able to identify:

  • Emerging treatments for dry AMD, and able to summarise the ocular risk and benefits
  • Key considerations in intraocular lens selection and determine candidacy for cataract surgery based on patient factors, and
  • Key features of ocular malignancies warranting referral and outline appropriate timelines and referral pathways.

CPD hours:

  • 1 hr (EA) Education Activity
  • 1 hour (RP) Reviewing Performance

  • Time: 6:15pm registration, presentations commence at 6:30pm over a three-course meal
