Midland General Surgery Mock Exam 2025

For the ninth year, members from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals General Surgery Department successfully held their General Surgery Mock Exam.

The mock exam provides an invaluable learning experience for surgical trainees preparing for their fellowship exam.

Designed to replicate the structure and pressure of the surgical fellowship exam, the mock exam offers candidates a realistic and high-quality practice environment. Candidates rotate through a series of exam stations that assessed both their clinical decision-making and technical knowledge, with constructive feedback provided to enhance their study.

The event was proudly sponsored by KARL STORZ, whose support helped make the day possible, and involved specialist surgical consultants from across Perth, who generously volunteered their time to serve as examiners. Their participation not only lent credibility and rigour to the stations but also highlighted the spirit of collegiality and professional engagement within Western Australia’s surgical industry.
