Visiting hours

Visitors are welcome at the hospital 10 am to 1 pm, and 4 pm to 7 pm daily.

Some patients may have restrictions on visiting hours and the number of visitors they can see. This is for their health and wellbeing, please speak to the nursing caregivers if you have any queries.

Getting here and parking

St John of God Berwick Hospital is located at 75 Kangan Drive, Berwick VIC 3806.

The specialist centre is located next door at Level 1, 55 Kangan Drive, Berwick VIC 3806.

The St John of God Day Oncology and Day Infusion Centre is located within the specialist centre on level one.

Road closures may be in place as part of the Victorian Government's Clyde Road upgrade. This may impact your travel to or from our hospital.

Accommodation for relatives

If you are the main support person to a patient in our care, you may be able to stay overnight as a boarder if a patient is in a single room.

The Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme

If you are travelling from rural Victoria, you may be eligible for financial assistance.

The Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme (VPTAS) covers some of the travel and accommodation costs incurred by rural Victorians when they must travel more than 100 kilometres one way for specialist medical treatment.
