Volunteering at St John of God Geelong Hospital
Volunteers are an invaluable and vital component of our services to patients, families, visitors and caregivers. Our volunteers generously give their time, expertise, skills and experience to help us provide our patients with the best possible care.
We are looking for volunteers who are over the age of 18 and can commit to 4-8 hours per week. Shift times vary depending on the volunteer position and are generally for four hours between Monday and Friday, and occasionally on weekends.
The opportunities for volunteers are varied and we work with you to provide roles that are meaningful and best suited to your talents, experience and availability. Our roles vary from newspaper delivery to companion support and patient transport services.
