St John of God Bendigo Hospital has a range of facilities for patients and visitors to access whilst in our care. We want to make your stay or visit as comfortable as possible.
Clinical patient services
We provide several additional clinical services, ensuring you receive the best possible care.
Rehabilitation gymnasium
We have a fully equipped onsite gym that offers individual assessments and tailored programs for each person in our care. Patients can attend sessions supervised by a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist to get the most out of this service, alternatively patients can request individual gym sessions.

Onsite hydrotherapy pool
Our hospital has a heated hydrotherapy pool that can be used by inpatients and outpatients for rehabilitation and independent sessions. If you wish to use the hydrotherapy pool, please contact the Allied Health Department.

Hydrotherapy sessions are scheduled throughout the day from 8 am to 5 pm.

Our hospital offers a range of facilities to help make your stay or visit as comfortable as possible.
Chapel
We have a nondomination chapel located on the ground floor of our hospital, next to our atrium. This serves as a peaceful, reflective space for patients, families, and caregivers. It hosts regular services, including special Christmas Masses and St John of God Day celebrations, and supports Catholic pastoral care services within the facility.
Atrium Gift and Coffee Shop
Located on the ground floor and open to the public, this cafe and gift shop has plenty of comfortable seating and is a popular meeting place for patients and visitors. Offering a great selection of food and drinks, the shop also sells a range of gifts, cards, newspapers and magazines.
Monday to Friday: 8 am to 4 pm
Closed on weekends and public holidays.

Free Wi-Fi
Our hospital offers free Wi-Fi for all our patients and guests, to access this, please follow the below steps.

Slade Pharmacy
Located on the ground floor next to our Atrium Cafe, Slade Pharmacy provides a retail pharmacy service to the community, along with dedicated clinical pharmacist services to support the hospital.
Gardens
We have an internal courtyard designed for recovery and relaxation for our patients; this is also the perfect place for visitors and patients to meet in a peaceful setting.
