Outpatient rehabilitation programs at Bendigo
If you are recovering from surgery, illness or injury, our outpatient rehabilitation programs can help you regain strength, confidence and independence in a supportive environment. These services are available to anyone in the community.
Our outpatient rehabilitation programs
We offer a range of specialised programs tailored to your individual needs, including:
- cardiac rehabilitation
- falls and balance
- oncology rehabilitation
- orthopaedic rehabilitation
- Parkinson’s programs
- reconditioning programs.
Your rehabilitation journey
Your program is tailored to your individual goals and needs and is overseen by our rehabilitation physicians.
- Most programs run for 8 to 12 weeks.
- You attend 1 to 2 sessions per week.
- Each session runs for approximately 90 minutes.
What to expect during a session
Your sessions may include:
- individual assessments
- gym-based exercise with our exercise physiologists
- hydrotherapy with our physiotherapists
- education sessions with allied health professionals.
Allied health appointments at Bendigo

No referral is required to book an appointment. However, your doctor or specialist may provide a referral if you are being treated for a specific condition. Our services include:
- physiotherapy
- exercise physiology

Allied health facilities at Bendigo
Our allied health facilities are designed to support your rehabilitation, recovery and ongoing wellbeing, combining modern facilities with expert care in a safe and welcoming environment.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy involves low-impact, guided exercise in a heated pool to support your recovery or help manage chronic conditions.
Exercising in water can:
- Reduce pressure on joints and muscles
- Improve movement and flexibility
- Increase circulation and blood flow
- Support recovery from injury or surgery
- Assist in managing chronic and neurological conditions.
Hydrotherapy may be recommended as part of your rehabilitation program or as a casual booking.
A physiotherapist assessment is required prior to booking.
Onsite gym
Stay strong with supervised sessions led by our exercise physiologists.Our fully equipped onsite gymnasium supports patients at all stages of recovery. Whether you are completing a rehabilitation program or maintaining your progress, our team can help you stay active and strong.

- Monday to Friday time slots available
- Sessions may be claimable through private health insurance.
