What can a volunteer do at Bendigo?
There are around 90 active volunteers in our hospital, working in over 30 different clinical and non-clinical areas.
Our volunteers hold roles in areas including:
- ward support
- administration
- reception
- coffee shop
- community meals
- driver programs
- auxillary raffles.
Essential volunteer requirements
Please see what we are looking for from a volunteer below:
- over 18 years of age
- friendly, helpful and mature
- have the time to commit to a volunteering role with ongoing reliable attendance
- be able and willing to undertake and complete an online short generic health care related training module
- be prepared to undergo National Police check and sign adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
