Long COVID support for people living in east metropolitan region

Led by a senior physiotherapist it treats patients aged 16 years and over living in the EMHS catchment area who are still experiencing non-urgent significant symptoms at least 12 weeks from the date of a positive COVID-19 diagnosis (confirmed by a positive RAT or PCR test) and where other causes have been excluded where appropriate.
GPs can refer for patients meeting the referral criteria below to the Post-COVID Clinic via the Central Referral Service.
Suitable patients referred to sub-speciality clinics following earlier advice will be diverted to the Post-COVID Clinic.
GPs wishing to discuss post COVID referrals, investigations or management can contact the clinic’s senior physiotherapist on 0481 483 611. As this clinic operates part-time, please leave a voicemail and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
