GPs, psychiatrists and treating specialists may refer patients to St John of God Langmore Centre for inpatient admissions, outreach services, day programs, or to see an accredited psychiatrist.
Please note our consultant psychiatrists are unable to assist with:
- clients under 18 years of age
- license assessment ie. firearms and motor vehicle
- outpatient treatment for ice addiction (inpatient is available)
- appointments for court reports relating to DHS, criminal or civil matters
- appointments mandated by community corrections orders, bail conditions or DHHS.

Accreditation
Applications for credentialing at St John of God Langmore Centre should be directed to the Chief Executive Officer.
Invitations to credential are sent via Equifax eCredential portal.
All credentialing applications are assessed and formally approved by the Credentialing Committee.
Both successful and unsuccessful applications will be notified by email.

By-laws and code of conduct
All accredited medical practitioners and service providers are expected to adhere to our code of conduct and practitioner by-laws. These documents govern the relationship between St John of God Health Care and its accredited practitioners, and set expectations for professional conduct, patient safety and the delivery of quality care at our hospitals and services. Practitioners will receive both documents following successful credentialing.
