We encourage, patients visitors and caregivers to recognise a fellow caregiver who has gone above and beyond in displaying our Mission and Values and bringing them to life.

Our five core values are: Hospitality, Compassion, Respect, Justice, and Excellence

You can read about our Mission and Values on this page.

The winners of this award will receive a certificate and a gift voucher from our CEO and be announced monthly on our Bunbury Facebook page  and in our caregiver newsletter.

Submitting a nomination

All caregivers (including volunteers) are eligible to be nominated for Caregiver of the Month – except for our executive team of Directors.

Nominations should outline how a caregiver contributes to the organisation; such as how they demonstrate commitment to their role, go over and above to support others and demonstrate and the Values.

Nomination process

All nominations are reviewed by the Caregiver of the Month Selection Panel.

Judging criteria

The Selection Panel assesses each nomination against the following key selection criteria:

  • How well the nominee exemplifies the St John of God Health Care values
  • Does the caregiver go ‘above and beyond’
  • The far reaching impact of the good work of the nominee.

Please include as much information as possible to support your nomination.
