St John of God Health Care is committed to delivering sustainable and inclusive health care, grounded in respect for all people.
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Roadmap
As the world of health care evolves at a rapid pace, sustainability goes beyond protecting the environment; it also means fostering an inclusive workplace, advancing social justice, delivering equitable care, and ensuring we govern responsibly and transparently.
We are committed to a future where excellence in health care goes hand-in-hand with environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and good governance.
Our ESG Roadmap 2026–2030 builds on the progress we’ve already made under our 2022–2025 environmental sustainability strategy and outlines our path to integrate sustainability into every facet of our work, caring for our common home and for those entrusted to our care.
Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
Our Disability Access and Inclusion Plan ensures that services, environments and experiences are responsive to the needs of people with disability, fostering participation, dignity and belonging for all.
Our plan focuses on caregiver engagement, service delivery, working environment and employment opportunities. It builds on our existing achievements to foster a culture of hospitality, inclusion and understanding, ensuring people with disability feel valued and supported.
Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Our Reconciliation Action Plan demonstrates leadership in health and community care service provision and uses our influence to recognise our shared responsibility in closing the gap in Aboriginal health care.
Through our journey of reconciliation, we are inspired by cultural learning and truth telling to connect deeply with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities where our hospitals and services operate.
Through our reconciliation focus areas, we will continue to celebrate First Nations peoples and cultures and grow our community partnerships. We will also enhance and pursue progress within the areas of employment and the provision of culturally safe health and community care services that deliver improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
