New St John of God Midland Private Hospital to welcome community ahead of opening
Community to be among the first to experience the new facility through a series of guided tours.
The tours reflect the hospital's commitment to building strong connections with the community from day one, offering residents, local organisations and key stakeholders an opportunity to explore the new hospital and learn more about the private health care services that will soon be available close to home.
St John of God Midland Private Hospital Chief Executive Officer Vanessa Unwin said welcoming the community into the hospital before opening was an important milestone.
"We know there has been great interest in the new hospital throughout its construction, and these tours are an opportunity for people to see the spaces and gain a better understanding of the private care and services that will soon be available here in Midland."
Visitors will be taken on a guided tour through key areas of the hospital, including getting a first look at the region's first Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory.
The community tours form part of the hospital's preparations ahead of opening and provide an opportunity to celebrate an important milestone with the people the hospital was built to serve.
With places limited, tours will run from 11-20 August, with registrations essential.
