Dr Owen is an experienced plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

After completing his medical degree at Cardiff University, United Kingdom, he migrated to Australia and worked at some of Perth’s top hospitals where he gained a broad knowledge in a variety of specialties before completing his plastic surgery training in 2018.

After being awarded Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr Owen completed the International Fellowship Training in Melanoma and Sarcoma Surgery in 2019. In addition to his fellowship, he furthered his experience in breast reconstruction and undertook subspecialty training in lymphatic supermicrosurgery.

Dr Owen is an active member of WA Kirkbride Melanoma Advisory Service and holds appointments at all adult tertiary teaching hospitals in Perth.

He is heavily involved in teaching and training, holding positions with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Notre Dame University, and is the current Educational Supervisor for WA Plastic Surgery Trainees.

Dr Owen is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate care for patients.

He works for St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals, accepting referrals for public, private and workers compensation patients.
