Dr Menon is a specialist general and upper GI surgeon, working in both a public and private capacity at St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals. She graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2003 and trained in general surgery in WA.


Dr Menon obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She then undertook post fellowship training in upper GI surgery at Concord Hospital, Sydney, and in acute care and trauma at the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre in Darwin, part of the Australian Medical Assistance Team. Dr Menon is a member of Australian and New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Surgical Association and is accredited through Gastroenterological Society of Australia.


She is currently the Surgical Director of Clinical Training at St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals and an Instructor for Early Management of Severe Trauma.
