Dr Prashanth Mayur is a general adult Psychiatrist with extensive experience in mood disorders and psychosis. He has been working in the role of a consultant psychiatrist for the past 15 years. He has a special interest in ECT and conducts research trials and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr Mayur has just completed a PhD in ultrabrief electroconvulsive therapy. He is involved in neurostimulation research in affiliation with the Westmead Millennium Institute and the University of Sydney. Dr Mayur has developed a special interest in adult ADHD, Asperger's syndrome and intellectual disability. In addition, he has an active interest in neuropsychiatric conditions.
Dr Mayur also provides limited medico-legal expert opinions.
