Dr Xiang is a clinical immunologist who is interested in all aspects of clinical immunology and allergy from allergic and atopic diseases, anaphylaxis, autoimmune diseases to immunodeficiency conditions. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Western Australia and completed his specialist training in Perth and Melbourne. His specialist qualification as a General Physician has also equipped him with the necessary skills to deal with undifferentiated and multi-systemic presentations and formulate an integrated holistic management plan that is patient-centred.

Dr Xiang is passionate in medical education, having previously mentored physician trainees as a Senior Medical Education Registrar at Royal Perth Hospital, and collaborated with GPs to develop a penicillin allergy delabelling program in a general practice in Perth. He is a strong advocate for equal access to specialist health care, having previously worked in Kalgoorlie and Albany Hospital as a medical registrar and more recently as a general physician in Albany Hospital where he delivered specialist health care to the regional community. He is happy to provide Telehealth appointments to rural patients where able.

During his free time, Dr Xiang enjoys spending time in nature either hiking, snorkelling, 4WD-ing or birdwatching.
