Emily lives in Bendigo with her husband and three children. Her vibrant childhood between Victoria and Indonesia continues to shape her thoughtful approach to patient care.

After finishing school in Bendigo, Emily studied Psychology at the University of Melbourne before completing her medical degree at Flinders University. Her early career in Canberra included broad experience across emergency medicine and paediatrics, where she gained a Diploma in Child Health, before discovering her passion for Obstetrics and Gynaecology, especially supporting patients through pregnancy and birth.

Emily undertook her specialist training in Canberra, Bendigo and Townsville, where she completed additional training in ultrasound. In North Queensland, while working alongside an MFM specialist and travelling to remote Aboriginal communities, she obtained a Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound, a qualification she now brings home to benefit women in the Bendigo region.

Today she combines her clinical expertise with a warm, patient-centred approach. She is a staff specialist at Bendigo Health and also serves as the RANZCOG training coordinator.

Outside of work, Emily is a busy bee enjoying family, friends, travel and adventure, and finding balance through yoga and time in nature.

Emily has founded Vine to bring thought and compassion to each ofher patients, helping their pregnancy feel empowered and safe.
