Prof Justin Hunt is an Australian trained orthopaedic and spinal surgeon with his main surgical practice in Melbourne.



He has gained extensive international experience working in North America and Europe.


This has enabled him to broaden the depth of his surgical expertise and has provided opportunities to pursue his interest in innovative surgical techniques particularly in the areas of joint preservation and minimally invasive surgery.



Justin has a broad surgical interest, utilising the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques for the management of all hip, knee, shoulder and spinal conditions to facilitate the best recovery and outcome for patients from surgery.



Surgical Interests include:


Hip - Joint replacement including, minimally invasive hip replacement surgery using the anterior approach, hip arthroscopy


Knee - Arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, partial and total knee replacement including patient specific instrumentation


Shoulder - Arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair and shoulder reconstruction, shoulder replacement


Spine - Lumbar and Cervical disc decompression and fusion, lumbar laminectomy and micro-discectomy
