Dr Aaron Esmaili

Dr Esmaili grew up in Perth, where he completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours before going on to graduate with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery with Honours.

He completed specialist training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and was awarded Fellowship (FRACS). He subsequently worked as a surgeon at Fiona Stanley Hospital within a high volume head and neck unit, gaining extensive post fellowship experience in the management of complex head and neck conditions.

Dr Esmaili was later selected through the highly competitive North American Rhinology Society match system to undertake a prestigious Rhinology and Skull Base Fellowship at the University of Alberta becoming the first surgeon from Perth to secure fellowship through the highly competitive match system. During this time, he trained under internationally recognised leaders in the field, gaining advanced expertise in complex rhinology, sinus surgery, anterior skull base procedures, and septorhinoplasty, treating both adult and paediatric patients. He also continued to expand his skills in major head and neck surgery and open skull base approaches through close collaboration with a well regarded head and neck surgical oncology team.

Dr Esmaili holds consultant public appointments at major tertiary hospitals in Perth, where he provides comprehensive rhinology and advanced endoscopic sinus surgery service, general paediatric ENT services and head and neck surgery including thyroid and salivary gland procedures. Dr Esmaili treats at St John of God Midland Private Hospital and at St John of God Subiaco Hospital.
