Dr Marc Day is a consultant psychiatrist who provides assessment and treatment for adults aged 18–65. He completed his medical degree at Western Sydney University in 2014 and undertook his specialist psychiatric training in Northern Sydney based at Royal North Shore, Macquarie and the Northern Beaches Hospitals. During his training he also spent time working in regional communities at Dubbo and Bathurst Hospitals, gaining valuable experience across both metropolitan and rural mental health services.


Dr Day was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) in 2023. Since then, he has worked across both public and private settings, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to a broad range of patients.



He is a general adult psychiatrist and accepts referrals for people aged 18–65 presenting with conditions including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychotic disorders, trauma-related conditions and substance use disorders. In addition to medication management and psychiatric assessment, Dr Day also provides cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for selected patients.


Having grown up and now living in the Blue Mountains, Dr Day is passionate about improving access to high-quality mental health care for people living in the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney communities.
