Dr Ivan Aw

Dr Aw graduated from Monash University, Melbourne, in 2009. After training for several years in general surgery, he commenced his urology training at a number of Melbourne hospitals, including Western Health, Peninsula Health, Monash Medical Centre and Northern Health.

In 2019, he completed a uro-oncology fellowship at Austin Hospital in Victoria to advance his interest in minimally-invasive cancer surgeries and complex stone procedures. In 2020 he moved to Perth to commence a public appointment at Royal Perth Hospital.

Dr Aw has a strong interest in medical research, he is well published in peer reviewed journals, text book chapters and has presented widely in national and international conferences. He is a regular reviewer for the World Journal of Urology and Journal of Endourology.

Dr Aw has a special interest in urologic oncology of the kidney, bladder and prostate, general urology, simple and complex renal stone disease and treatment of benign prostatic enlargement.
