Updated referral information for St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals
An exciting change is coming to healthcare services in the Midland region with the opening of St John of God Midland Private Hospital on 27 August 2026.
As part of the transition from the current combined public and private hospital model to two separate service entities, there are some important changes that we would like to bring to your attention.
Public services and referral processes
There are no changes to existing public referral pathways or processes.
All public allied health, nursing, multidisciplinary, physician, surgical, oncology, geriatric, paediatric and endoscopy outpatient services will continue to operate through established public hospital pathways.
