Suffering from terrible period pain? Endometriosis is thought to affect about one in 10 women of reproductive age. Our video provides information about the symptoms and management of endometriosis.
Many women suffer for many years without being diagnosed, which can lead to chronic pain and infertility.
Correct diagnosis by a specialist is the beginning of a better life however many women with endometriosis are undiagnosed because the symptoms can be vague and women tend to normalise them.
While the condition is not curable ongoing specialist care can have a massive impact on women’s lives.
It's important for women to be treated by a specialist trained in the diagnosis and ongoing management of the disease.
