Dr La Bianca studied medicine at the University of Western Australia and graduated in 1991.


He achieved his FRACS in Urology in 1999 and completed his training in Vancouver, Canada, at the VGH-UBC Prostate Centre, where he undertook a clinical fellowship in advanced Pelvic Uro-Oncology.


He is an adjunct senior lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, has presented at numerous local and international meetings and is published widely on PSA, prostate cancer, hormonal therapy and Peyronie’s disease.


Dr La Bianca’s special interests include bladder cancer, cystectomy, bladder reconstruction, Peyronie’s Disease, penile implant surgery, chronic pelvic pain syndromes and prostate cancer.


Outside of work, Dr La Bianca is an avid reader and technophile, enjoys time with his family, listening to his eclectic vinyl record collection, cycling, slow food and good wine.
