Ben Jeffcote is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who was born in the UK and studied medicine both in the UK and here in Australia.
He entered the Orthopaedic Training Program in Western Australia in 2003.During training he completed an AOA research fellowship in biomechanics of the knee. After completing training he engaged in post fellowship specialisation in knee and lower limb surgery in Bristol (UK).
Ben is a fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He has undertaken research projects on knee replacement biomechanics, knee ligament balance and patellofemoral kinematics. He has published twelve research papers in peer reviewed scientific journals and has presented at multiple state, national and international scientific meetings.
