Associate Professor Dr Deepika Monga is an experienced and highly sought after female Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, with over 25 years experience, looking after the wellbeing of women from Ballarat and surrounds.

Her practice includes high risk obstetrics, laparoscopy, colposcopy and prolapse/ incontinence surgery, and she aims to provide high quality personalised care.

After graduating with a degree in medicine and surgery, she gained Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MD and DNBE) from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi.

She worked as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with Ministry of Health Malaysia, during which period she supervised over 20,000 deliveries, and presented and published 50 research papers.

She moved to Australia, obtained Fellowship of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and commenced private practice.

Her practice includes high risk obstetrics, laparoscopy, colposcopy and prolapse/ incontinence surgery.

She is topic lead in Women's Health and supervises teaching of students from University of Melbourne, Deakin University as well as University of Notre Dame.

She is actively involved in research, is Lead Clinician (Gynaecology) for Grampians Integrated Cancer Services, and is on the Medical Advisory Committee for St John of God Ballarat Hospital.
