Dr McLaren (Cam) is a general medical oncologist with clinical interests in breast, genitourinary, gastrointestinal, and lung cancers. He completed his oncology training through Peninsula Health, Monash Health, and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and is the current Victorian State Director of the Private Cancer Physicians of Australia (PCPA).
Cam has a strong belief in rapid appointments of patients with new diagnoses to minimise anxiety. He also has a passion for communication skills, the importance of exercise in cancer care, symptom control, and end of life care.
Cam lives in Berwick and has been providing cancer care to patients at St John of God since 2018.
