Dr Daniels completed his medical degree at UWA, where he also obtained a Masters Degree in gene therapy in the eye.

Dr Daniels undertook his Glaucoma Specialist Training (Fellowship) at the esteemed Bristol Eye Hospital in the UK. Dr Daniels offers a comprehensive service for all eye conditions.

Since commencing his private practice in 2007, he has performed in excess of 18,000 procedures including cataracts, glaucoma procedures (trabeculectomy, baerveldt tubes and Xen stents), pterygia and plastic surgical procedures. Dr Daniels has been an Ophthalmology consultant/surgeon at St John of God Subiaco for 11 years.

Dr Daniels is the Chairman of the Perth Eye Hospital – the largest private eye Hospital in Australia. The Perth Eye Hospital Supports: John Fawcett Foundation, St John of God of Jerusalem, The East Timor Project and Cambodia Vision.

Dr Daniels volunteers his medical and surgical skills and knowledge to train local Ophthalmologists in East Timor. He has previously volunteered in India.

Dr Daniels is the author of multiple publications. He also maintains an active teaching role to optometrists and colleagues. Dr Daniels has sub-specialty interests in:
