Dr Arjomand is a Consultant and Interventional cardiologist with a special interest in complex PCI as well as transfemoral aortic valve replacement and left atrial appendage closure.

He graduated from the Free University of Berlin, Germany and undertook Cardiology Training at Royal Perth Hospital where he obtained his Fellowship of Royal Australian College of Physicians, followed by subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology at Western Hospital in Melbourne, and a further fellowship at St Georg Hospital in Hamburg (complex PCI including CTO, TAVI, LAA-closure, MitraClip and ECMO-resuscitation).

He is a member of the European Society of Cardiology and a board certified cardiologist in Germany (DGK and German Medical Council) as well as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He is a regular attendee at major international conferences such as Euro-PCR, TCT, ESC and CSANZ.
