Dr Samarth Rao is a gastroenterologist with special interest in therapeutic endoscopy and pancreato-biliary disease. He treats patients at St John of God Subiaco Hospital.

Dr Rao completed his specialty training in Perth followed by advanced endoscopy fellowships for two years at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth and Vancouver, Canada (Vancouver General and St. Paul’s Hospitals).

His expertise includes advanced endoscopic procedures such as endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP, management of large colon polyps, management of Barrett’s oesophagus and double balloon enteroscopy.
