Dr Jason Lim is an Ophthalmologist with Fellowship training from world renown eye institutes.

He is a local graduate, born and raised in Western Australia. After graduating from the University of Western Australia, and completing his residency in Western Australia, he undertook training abroad. He has trained in the UK, Singapore and the USA. He recently completed his glaucoma and cataract Fellowship at the renowned St Paul's Eye Institute in the Royal Liverpool Hospital, Liverpool, U.K.

Dr Lim brings non-penetrating glaucoma surgery to Western Australia. In addition to traditional penetrating glaucoma surgery, he is the first fully Fellowship trained non-penetrating glaucoma surgeon in Western Australia.

Non-penetrating glaucoma surgery is a relatively new type of glaucoma surgery which compared to traditional glaucoma surgery, allows for more rapid recovery, much lower risk of complications; whilst achieving similar postoperative outcomes. Dr Lim has a keen interest in developing and third world medicine and has made a number of missionary trips into China, Cambodia, and Thailand.

He is also interested in Indigenous Australian health and as a trainee, participated in trips to the Kimberley (northern part of Western Australia).
