Mr Ming Yii is a vascular and transplant surgeon operating on varicose veins, aortic aneurysm, peripheral bypass surgery, access surgery, carotid surgery, endovascular procedures including endovascular aneurysm repair and angioplasty and kidney/pancreatic transplant.


Mr Yii graduated from the University of Adelaide. He completed training in 1996 in Melbourne with FRACS. He worked in Sarawak, Malaysia from 1996 to 2003 and started the only vascular unit that provided vascular surgical services to two million people. He returned to Melbourne in March 2003 and commenced practice centred in south east Victoria regions.


Mr Yii addresses common clinical problems including aneurysms, peripheral limb ischaemia, diabetic foot complications and vascular access for renal patients requiring dialysis. He is involved in teaching medical students and trainee surgeons through Southern Health. Mr Yii is also involved in research projects with Monash Department of Surgery.


Mr Yii is a member of Australian and New Zealand Society of Vascular Surgery and General Surgeon Australia (Transplant Surgeon).


Mr Yii has public appointments as a vascular and transplant Surgeon at Monash Health, Dandenong and Berwick.
