Dr Xiao-Fang Xu

General cardiologist with special clinical interests in valvular diseases, structural heart problems, transthoracic / transoesophageal / stress echocardiography, coronary angiography and pacing.

Xiao-Fang is a Cardiologist in private practice at St John of God Murdoch Hospital. She was formerly the Director of Coronary Care at Fremantle Hospital and Head of Echocardiology at Royal Perth Hospital.

Xiao-Fang holds a Ph.D. in Cardiology. She practiced for three years as an Advanced Cardiology Fellow in Echocardiology and Clinical Cardiology at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation (USA). She is active in cutting edge cardiology, including transcatheter aortic valve implantation, percutaneous structural heart disease management and left atrial appendage occluders.

She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Hokkien and Shanghainese dialects. Xiao-Fang consults at St John of God Murdoch Hospital with admitting rights to Fiona Stanley Hospital and St John of God Murdoch Hospital.
