Dr Fong James Wong finished his residency program in Internal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore, USA.
He completed a fellowship in Diabetes and Endocrinology at George Washington University Medical Center and was mentored by Professor Robert Ratner (currently the president of the American Diabetes Association).
Dr Wong is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He went into private practice for 20 years in Florida and is now in beautiful Australia.
His fields of interest are both type 1 and type 2 diabetes and he has participated in a diabetic studies in the USA. He is quite enthusiastic to treat other endocrine diseases.
Dr Wong is married and has a son. He speaks both English and French fluently - that's why his English has a French accent to it!
