General cardiologist with special clinical interest in coronary intervention, angioplasty & stenting.


Alan graduated from Guy’s Hospital, London in 1991 and trained in Cardiology in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Alan was Head of Department of Cardiology at Fremantle Hospital when it closed in 2014 and has been the Clinical Lead for Coronary Intervention at Fiona Stanley Hospital since it opened.


Alan has extensive experience in all aspects of coronary intervention and has been an investigator in many pivotal trails in coronary artery angioplasty. Recent experience includes intervention for structural heart disease involving innovative procedures for valvular heart disease. Alan has appointments at Fiona Stanley Hospital and St John of God Murdoch Hospital.


Alan currently consults at St John of God Hospital Murdoch Hospital, Kalamunda and Mandurah.
