Dr Vijaya Venkataraman

Dr Vijaya Venkataraman is a consultant physician specialising in internal medicine, lipidology, and perioperative medicine, with a strong focus on cardiometabolic health. She has extensive experience in managing complex lipid disorders, perioperative risk assessment and general internal medicine. She provides specialised care across multiple hospitals, including Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, St John of God Subiaco Hospital and St John of God Murdoch Hospital.

She completed her Master’s in Perioperative Medicine from Monash University in 2023 and is currently pursuing the Cardiometabolic Health Practitioner (CMHP) certification.

Dr Venkataraman is committed to optimising patient outcomes through a personalised and evidence-based approach. She is also passionate about medical education and mentorship, actively guiding the next generation of physicians.
