Mr Andrew Thomson is an orthopaedic surgeon who has a special interest in hip and knee arthroplasty with a general interest in the lower limbs.
Mr Thomson graduated from Monash University in 1995 and completed his specialist training in orthopaedics in 2006. He completed his post-fellowship training at The Brigham and Women's Hospital (Harvard University) in Boston specialising in total knee arthroplasty, and at The Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre in Exeter specialising in total hip arthroplasty.
Mr Thomson is currently accredited at St John of God Geelong Hospital and University Hospital - Geelong with a general interest in all adult orthopaedic conditions involving the lower limb and with a special interest in hip and knee arthroplasty. He consults privately at the St John of God Specialist Centre as part of Geelong Orthopaedics.
