Dr Patrick Teloken

Dr Patrick Teloken obtained his medical degree at the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre (UFCSPA) in Brazil and completed his postgraduate training in Australia. He completed his urological surgical training in Queensland with an emphasis in robotic surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).

He has an active interest in urological research and has completed a Masters in Surgery at the University of Western Australia (UWA). For private procedures he is accredited at St John of God Subiaco Hospital. Dr Teloken provides patient-centred care to ensure his patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr Teloken's areas of special interest include:

• male lower urinary tract symptoms

• minimally invasive options for benign enlargement of the prostate

• managing benign enlargement of the prostate with enucleation (HoLEP) and robotic simple prostatectomy

• robotic surgery for benign and malignant conditions

• prostate cancer risk assessment (PSA evaluation)

• prostate cancer management including robotic radical prostatectomy

• renal lesion assessment and management

• kidney cancer management including robotic partial nephrectomy

• kidney and ureter stones

• microscopic surgery for vasectomy reversal.
