Dr David Tierney

David is a Clinical Psycholgist who has worked on the Mornington Peninsula for many years. He has an interest in all psychological aspects of rehabilitation including trauma, pain and adjustment issues. David has an eclectic therapeutic approach that incorporates a range of cognitive behavioural therapies, motivational interviewing and solution oriented approaches.

He is involved in both the pain management and cardiac rehabilitation programs conducted at St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital.

David has published in Australian and international psychology journals and is currently engaged in a mental health project in Papua New Guinea funded by DFAT, USAid and the UNDP.
