Professor Udaya Seneviratne is a neurologist with training in EEG, epilepsy, and seizure disorders. He is a Consultant Neurologist at Monash Medical Centre and an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Monash University.
Professor Seneviratne provides two services to patients at St John of God Berwick Hospital.
EEG (Electroencephalogram) test: age 8 and above
Epilepsy and Seizure Clinic consults: adults (age 18 and above)
Professor Seneviratne has substantial expertise in the management of epilepsy and seizure disorders. He conducts a specialised “Epilepsy and Seizure Clinic” and an EEG service at St John of God Berwick Consulting Rooms. His clinic provides specialist management to all adult patients with epilepsy, blackouts, and seizures. The program includes medical treatment, vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) therapy, a pathway for epilepsy surgery, and new antiepileptic drug trials.
