Mithra is a hepatopancreaticobiliary surgeon.


He obtained his MBBS at the University of Melbourne in 2007 and obtained his FRACS in General Surgery in 2015. He then spend the next 4 years in post fellowship training in HPB and Liver Transplants in Monash, Singapore, Brisbane and Austin. Whilst in Brisbane, Mithra was trained in complex laparoscopic and robotic liver and pancreas operations and is the only ANZHPBA Exam Accredited Fellow in the South East of Melbourne.


Mithra will take referrals for Liver masses Liver disease including cirrhosis and portal hypertension, Colorectal liver metastases Obstructive Jaundice Pancreatic Masses Pancreatitis Abnormal LFT And General Hiatus Hernia Reflux disease Gall stone disease Hernias including complex abdominal reconstructions, Incisional and Groin Hernia, Carpal tunnel Surgical emergencies and trauma.


Mithra has a public appointment as a HPB Surgeon at Monash Health Clayton and also consults at Warragul.
