Mr Michael Schenberg is an experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeon. His areas of interest include management of facial skeletal trauma, impacted wisdom teeth, dental implantology, orthognathic surgery, tumours (benign and malignant) of the oral cavity and jaws and oral oncology. Mr Schenberg trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Melbourne and completed training in 1990.



After completing formal training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Mr Schenberg spent over two years overseas gaining further surgical experience and broader surgical skills. He spent this time working in major teaching hospitals in England, Scotland and The Netherlands. He has an interest in teaching trainee oral and maxillofacial surgeons and dental and medical students.



He has a strong interest in voluntary overseas humanitarian aid. Since 2005 he has lead teams of volunteers performing oral and maxillofacial surgery in Vietnam, visiting once or twice annually.
