Dr Nik Stoyanov is a cardiologist with subspecialty training in electrophysiology, pacing and heart failure.


Nik is a local graduate from UWA, and has completed cardiology training at Royal Perth Hospital, including 12 months at the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Unit. Subsequently, he spent a further three years training in EP and pacing at RPH and at the Ottawa Heart Institute in Ontario, Canada.


Dr Stoyanov is a consultant cardiologist practising at St John of God Murdoch Hospital and in public hospitals (Royal Perth Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital).


Aside from general cardiology, his particular areas of interest include management of all cardiac arrhythmias, implantation and follow-up of pacemakers and defibrillators, and the management of inherited cardiac conditions.
